You'll join a rapidly growing, boutique, management consultancy, driving the people agenda in a full function generalist role. Reporting to the MD with support in place for recruitment and some aspects of L&D (and senior leaders with a strong background in people strategy who are there to support) your ideas will be welcomed. It's a collaborative culture. It's a fast paced, really commercial environment. The company is still relatively small, <50 heads, but they compete with the Big4 consultancies, managing big projects with major organisations. You'll be working with, and supporting, a bright bunch (consultancy, digital experts, project managers predominately) in a performance culture where wellbeing and personal development at the core. You'll be managing the People Operations, the day to day activities whilst delivering longer term projects and supporting the Board develop and deploy a people strategy that will support the continued growth.
You'll have a generalist HR background, with specific expertise in UK employment legislation and policy and a solid understanding across all major pillars of HR (albeit you may benefit from developing your experience in some areas). You'll have a strong academic record and, ideally CIPD accreditation or similar. You'll be used to operating in a commercial and fast paced environment and in supporting, advising and coaching senior leaders. This could be a great role if you are in a more blue-chip, corporate environment, and you want a change of scale and the opportunity to run your own show, however, if you've demonstrated effectiveness at an organisation of a similar scale, that's great too.
