Interim HR Manager - Start Up (potential for reduced hours)

Then this is a lovely one.
This is a brand new role in a brand new company. So new that it hasn't even launched yet. So you really are in it from the beginning.
It's an interim role whilst they recruit for a permanent head, so you're there to get the ball rolling. If you are keen to have your hat in the ring for the perm job then we can look at that too!
You'll help establish processes and procedures for this newly formed business, which can then be rolled out to the companies that are in pipeline for acquisition, who have little in the way of HR basics. You'll get to handle all the HR related M&A activity and a create consistent process across administration, recruitment & assessment, inductions & onboarding, reward, talent management, performance management and leadership development .
This is a challenger business whose focus is around quality, and this includes employee experience. They want to make this a great place to work, and so for them, the people piece has to be established from day one.
You'll need to have experience of setting up HR process and policy from scratch, and understand the HR activity that comes with M&As. You'll be a true generalist who can create HR strategy, turn your hand to any element of operational HR, have the gravitas and credibility to influence and coach at a senior level, and yet be more than happy rolling your sleeves up to do the doing.
