This role is No 2 to the International Reward Director in a very technically advanced business. The skills of the workforce are fundamental to its success, as is retaining those skills. In essence, the challenge is to create compensation structures that are in tune with corporate (US) philosophy, are coherent across international (all non US) markets and align with local competitive pay practices. So your love of finding solutions to complex issues, exploring new ways to do things and collaborating with fellow compensation specialists will be invaluable.
You're already au fait with connecting specialist reward activity with what is actually happening out there in the business. This is the opportunity to do so on a large scale with significant commercial drivers. More reason for people to stay; more ability for the business to stay competitive. Bingo.
