An opportunity to be the change you want to see. Support the newly appointed MD of a long established manufacturing group to maximise the organisation's capabilities.
A newly created position, you'll join at a time when you'll get the opportunity to employ your HR creativity and commercial experience to have a real impact. Partnering the Board, the focus is across the corporate populations. At the top of the to-do list is the creation of the overall People Strategy so this is a fantastic time to join if you want to drive real, tangible change.
A true generalist role, you'll enjoy jumping from the long range strategy to immediacy of the day to day operations. You'll thrive in an environment where pragmatic solutions are what are called for. An environment where HR isn't delivered top down from its ivory tower, but is integral to operations and one that values expertise and trust.
Part of a large international group, operating across multiple local brands, your main function will be to partner the largest UK business but you will have a wider remit supporting other UK operations in a consultative capacity acting as a coach to the senior leaders and local HR operations when your council is required.
You'll have experienced working in a sophisticated HR environment, being able to draw on best practice approaches to deliver the results that are needed. However, have experienced and value the autonomy, variety and agility that is afforded working in a smaller, simpler environment and HR setup. You'll have a strong academic background and your career will demonstrate your desire and ability to develop yourself and progress your career.
