People Development Manager (3 days a week)

Work with purpose, increase the capability of an international charity to deliver its fantastic work through setting up and delivering the people development strategy.
You'll get the opportunity to create and implement a more structured approach to individual and organisational development for a global charity. A household name with an exceptional track record built over decades, they are undergoing a major transformation in how they operate. It's an exciting place to be and a fulfilling cause to join. You will build the people development strategy from the ground up. Reporting to the CEO you'll be responsible for improving the people performance by ensuring the right learning and development tools are available to everyone, allowing colleagues, globally, to perform at their best.
Your focus will move between the individual and organisational. One of the key priorities that will allow you to enhance the organisational performance is in supporting the implementation of an online project management system which will allow better monitoring and evaluation of programmes (you'll get to use this information to identify gaps and inform individual development needs).
A fantastic opportunity to move into the charity sector. We're as keen to speak to those looking to move from the corporate world as someone that has exposure to the third sector. You will need to demonstrate your experience in setting up and/or developing the people development capabilities within an organisation and your ability to, personally, drive improvements that have quantifiable organisational outcomes. Experience in designing and rolling out behavioural frameworks is required, as is exposure to working internationally.
This is a permanent role offered on a 3 day per week basis, the exact working pattern is open for discussion.
