London (with travel)
Are you an HR consultant that wants to take on an inhouse HR lead role?
Is your HR experience inhouse but you like the idea of consulting with organisations?
Either way, this hybrid role could be just the ticket.
About 3 days a week you'll be wearing your 'internal Head of People' hat. As a key member of the leadership team, reporting to the MD, you'll be responsible for all 'people' aspects in a rapidly growing boutique consultancy. You time will be spent ensuring that the right HR and people policies are in place to ensure the continued success of the organisation and being the 'go to' person for all things HR across the company (ably supported by an Assistant who also leads on recruitment activities).
That leaves about 2 days a week when you'll be donning the attire of a fee earning consultant. Supporting clients to get the best from their people, often at times of significant transformation. Here you'll get the opportunity to work on cutting edge ideas with a range of organisations across the public and private sectors, each with their own challenges and nuances to be addressed.
Either way, you'll be working with a fantastic team of high calibre business and technology consultants in an environment that values agility, intellect, creativity and collaboration. One thing is for sure, you'll never get bored, there will always be somewhere that you can have an impact.
You will have strong generalist HR experience and be able to demonstrate where you have set the strategy at a senior level. Exposure to a best practice (and forward thinking) HR environment is important and experience in a professional services and/or consultancy environment (either inhouse or client facing) would be ideal.
